The Whizzy Story
WhizzySoftware was founded in 2016 by a solo developer with deep roots in academics — someone who spent years studying, teaching, and understanding how knowledge really sticks. The company started by building software products across different domains, sharpening its craft with each one.
But a question kept coming back: why is studying still so fragmented? Students bounce between readers, note apps, flashcard tools, and AI chatbots — none of them talking to each other. That frustration, born from real academic experience, led to Bookmark42.
Launched in October 2025, Bookmark42 is WhizzySoftware's first step into EdTech — a focused study platform that brings reading, AI-assisted understanding, and self-assessment into a single, clean workspace. It's early days, and we're building it one thoughtful feature at a time.
